Does any other kitty do this?

When Monida goes to drink, she drinks so fast that she either starts gagging or hiccupping. I can't imagine this is good for her. Anyone have any suggestions?

Also, just another thought ... It might help if you break the feedings up into at least two during the day. Maybe Cheebah is so hungry at each meal that she's eating more than she would normally...

The informational sheet I got from the vet after Monida was spayed said it recommended cutting back on food because spayed kitties tend to gain weight. So maybe there's some truth to that myth?

Hopefully I'm not repeating what someone else said, but do you think that maybe when she was at the breeder she had to fight for her food, hence her food aggression now? Maybe once she learns she will always have food, she won't feel the need to bite or steal.

Do you have neighbors Leaf can hear? Mo's wakeup call is between 4:30 and 5 (brutal, since I work nights and go to bed at 2.) I realized my neighbors (I live in an apartment complex) leave around 5:30, so I'm guessing Mo hears them get up and decides she needs to be up as well.
