Here's the deal, I feed my neighbors cat kibble but I know that it is bad for him.. I know canned would be better for him so I'd like to know how to make something that would be similar to canned food with no veggies please! I feed my dogs and ferrets raw food and i've tried it with Alex but the only thing he's eaten was a ribeye steak.. He does love cooked chicken and turkey though, and ground turkey is on sale at Kroger right now ($1 a pound) so I'd like to find something that I can use turkey in.

Thanks

How about adding a pre-mix in with plain cooked meat? thinking The pre-mix has all the nutrients you need. Just add meat and stir together.

Feline Future has a pre-mix. The pre-mix is ideally used with raw meat but there is a recipie for using cooked meat. There is a suggest. There is a suggested lere is a suggested list is a suggested list of m suggested list of meats

Here's a recipe I got in an email from Dr Andrew Jones:

"At Home Cat Food Recipe
--------------------------------

High Protein Recipe (based on a 9 lb Adult Cat)

Broiled Pork 1/2 cup
Cooked Peas 1/4 cup
Vegetable Oil 1 teaspoon
One A Day Multivitamin/multimineral Supplement 1/4 tablet
Taurine tablet (1 gram tablet with 500 mg taurine) 1/4 tablet
Morton Lite Salt Mixture 1/4 teaspoon
CaltrateŽ 600 1/2 capsule

Cook Protein, Carbohydrate and Vegetables.

These recipes represent the amount to be fed per day and can be
fed in multiple meals.

More than one day's worth of the food can be prepared ahead of
time and refrigerated for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 2 weeks.

Prior to serving each meal and after warming, add the appropriate
amount of supplement to the food.

Mix thoroughly. Heating supplements that contain vitamins can
destroy their effectiveness.

The amount of supplement(s) shown above is the daily amount.
Therefore, please divide the amount listed by the number of
meals given a day."

By the way, if anyone else reads his stuff, tell me what you think about it please smile
