dino's favorite thing is to get under any covers.. blanket on the couch or sheets on the bed. i think it makes him feel secure because he just starts to drool as soon as he's under!

that his mom won't let him outside. he just runs around from window to window howling. oh the guilt!

Arrival Story:
dino was a feral kitten in my neighborhood. because the neighbors thought there were too many cats, i got started to trap spay and neuter the gang out here. i gave the kittens to someone who could find them good homes. dino's brother scooter needed an amputation and i was worried we wouldn't find a home good enough for such a special kitty. so, i decided to keep him. then i picked dino out as a friend because he was the smallest kitty and thought being so small would help build scooters self esteem. that shows how much i know about cats. within two months dino was twice the size of scooter!

Bio:
dino had horrible diarrhea for months. the vet kept giving him medicine for parasites. when that didn't work and as poor dino got weaker and weaker another vet diagnosed him with ibd. he was put on a grain free diet and had two courses of steroids that only worked while he was taking them. not wanting him subjected to a life full of steroids i turned to the internet and read stories about ibd cats being cured on raw food. i figured that hooey wouldn't work but was willing to try anything to help the poor little guy. he was cured in 24 hours of eating raw and we've never looked back! turns out picking the 'little' kitten to be scooters playmate was also a blessing for dino.
