Arrival Story:
I was born in this apartment building to Gina and Harvey whose guardian thought they were "fixed." Momcat Gina had six orange and calico kittens and one tabby, me. My now mama took me home to her apartment when I was about ten weeks old. I had scabby eyes and a runny nose, but mama thought I was beautiful. She got medicine from the vet for me; I got better and have lived here happy and content ever since. **** I moved from the home of my birth 09-06-08. I miss seeing the children play and all the birdies and squirrels from my window. I did see a bluejay in the oak tree outside this window.

Bio:
I love my mama and my mama loves me. I sleep on her bed at night, up close when it's cold. Mama thinks I'm goofy because I try to cover up my food and I don't cover up what's supposed to be covered up. I put my paw in my water and lick it off of my paw or I drink water out of the leaky bathroom faucet. **** Update: The landlord fixed the leaky faucet. 05-08 **** I was named Honey because mama liked the orange, honey-colored markings on me. I guess I was kinda sweet, too. Meow. **** Vinnie and Nicki are my cousins. **** Diary of the Day, 1-31-2008

Awful Day

I have had an awful day. I spilled my water, half a bowl full. You'd be surprised how much water that is when it's all over the bathroom floor. Then Mama wiped it up with two old towels. Then she stepped on my foot. I wasn't "under foot." I was just watching to see that she did it right. I ran and she ran after me saying she's sorry. She rubbed my foot to make if better.

Now I learned that my friend Alfie went to the Bridge last week. I didn't know.
I am sad tho I know he's with Wally and Sydney and our Molly and lots of other kitties.

Some days are just awful.
