I have a little shadow that goes in and out with me.......

Mommy says I growed a shadow, cause every time she sees me now there is a little gray blur chasing me. I keep telling her it is my baby sistercat but she still calls it my shadow.

I am really getting into this big brother thing, it is a LOT of fun. I have someone to play and wrestle with and be silly with. Mommy says I am a good boy cause I am so gentle with Seybah *whispers* I even let seybah think she can pin me to the floor and let her chew on me like she is winning!!!!

Oh and there is another good thing about being a big brothercat, I dont get in trouble as much any more. Mommy is so busy saying "Seybah...NO!; Seybah get down!; Seybah stop that" that she forgets to say "Chester...NO!".

How cool is that, more play and less trouble! Every brothercat should get a baby sistercat, heck I am thinking about trading Winnie in for another baby sistercat!

Can't a brothercat get any privacy?

*sigh* ok yeah I wanted a sistercat. And I have learned to share my treaties, and my food, and my mommy and my toys (even my williams) and I was ok with all that. But theline may have been crossed now.....she is taking over my tubby time, my sacred man time!

Mommy and I have a routine, when she goes in the bathroom I follow and jump in the tub. She turns the water on and I play and get a drink. It is MY time, for me. No sistercats. Man time.

But no more, now Seybah follows, jumps in my tub and chases my tail while I try to get my drink. How rude!!!!! Is there no where sacred when you have sistercats? Do they have to even follow me to the tub?

A Brothercat, Newmie, Needs Us

Have you seen the campaign the sistercats are up to? They are championing Sugar or Cookie Crumbs for head of their household. We cant let all the work Calvin did go down the drain. The brothercats must stand behind this little guy.

Suggestion 2 from a brothercat

Hi again. I got so much support from my friends on the size comment *sigh* I figured I would now talk about age.....

Don't get a younger sistercat, they make you look older. Mommy keeps telling me how she used to look at me and see a kitten, now looking at me watching Seybah she sees and old man.

So lets recap shall we....in 48 hours of new brothercatdom I have been called an old ton weighing moose. This has been helpful. Pooh I hope you are looking younger and thinner now that you sent me Seybah.

The good news, she washed my ear for like a second today. I like that part.

Suggestion from a big brothercat

Now that I have officially been a big brothercat for 24 hours I have some advice for any purr thinking about doing this. I'll share over the next few days things to take into account when picking your new sibling cat. Today, size.

If you are a manly man like me, or have a chunk a bunk sister like Winnie you should pick your new sibling based on size. Get one BIGGER than you. Seybah is very little compared to me and now mommy keeps pointing out how BIG I am, and what a MOOSE I am. And when she picks me up she groans and says I weigh a ton. What's that about? Five days ago I got called sweet things like her little baby boy, now I am a ton weighing moose? I should have gotten a sistercat bigger than me so I would look tiny!

I think I have a new sistercat...

I am kinda confused, my auntie Kaye was here, now she isn't. This little bouncy kitten wasn't here and now she is. But mommy said tonight she was my sistercat and didn't say "maybe" anymore. So I think Seybah is officially my sistercat.

Please make sure you ask her to be friends, she is very little and needs all of the friends she can have.

It takes FOREVER to get a sistercat! I know now why a lot of cats dont have one. But FINALLY tomorrow she gets on the birdie with Mrs Pooh's mommy and comes to my house to do my interviewing.

Ok Mrs Auntie Kaye and all your notes calmed mommy down, some. And she let me book the big birdie ride for Seybah and Auntie Kaye. They come on Thursday morning.

Help, mommy is having a melt down

and second thinking letting me get a sistercat (man twofers are weird). She has herself convinced all the "oopses" that have delayed it...

Seybah's pops feeing her breaky so she couldnt get fixeded, then her getting sick so she couldn't get fixeded, then her mommy being busy so that she can only come for 2 days....

are fate saying this is a mistake and is making her scared.

She also has convinced herself again that 3 cats is one more than she has hands for......

Please purr that my mommy finds her mind again and gets over this!!! I want a sistercat.

I am still VERY confused on what was brokened on Seybah, but she is all fixeded, so thank you for all the purrings!!! I am sure that is why she is fixeded.

Now she can come do my interview and see if she wants to be my sistercat. I have been practicing VERY hard for my interview, cause I never had one of those before!

The Sky is Falling Already

*comes in with his hat and scarf on and his mittens clipped to his paws* THE SKY FALLINGS HAVE STARTED! Yeah!!!! The sky fallings are on my grass, and on my bushes and on my rocks outside my window!!!!! Sky fallings are so cool. I cant wait for Seybah to see them (she is one of those southern type kitties that don't know what they are, but I'll teach her good about them). Gotta go watch the sky fall and make sure all is well!

The day of atonment

The sun is just about gone down, and that means it is time to start the most important day of being Jewish, Yom Kippur. This is the day we atone for the things we are sorry for for the last year, and that we hope to have a good year from. The "twofers" have to fast (not eat) also, but luckily us "fourfers" don't have to do that part.


So I was thinking what I should say I am sorry for....

1. I'm sorry my sistercat is such a witch
2. I'm sorry my sistercat is so mean to me sometimes
3. I'm sorry I don't have a brothercat to play with
4. I'm sorry I don't have thumbs so I could get my own treaty-treats.

*looks over and sees mommy shaking head and sighing* what??? Those aren't atonements? But I'm sorry for them *innocent chessy grin*. Ok, I'm sorry for all the times I have been mean to the girlcats *mumbles under his breath*...but they deserved it and sorry for anyone I upset this year.

OH NO....while Pooh and I were doing "boing...boing...boing" it happened. The losted mommies started congregating. My mommy and Mrs Auntie Kaye escaped Winnie's grasp and headed north. At last report they were with Mrs. Odie and George and Chances Mommy. You KNOW when 3 catster mommies are losted together that is the magical number at which it all goes bad. And get this, this time they pulled in a DADDY PERSON too!!! Mr Odie and Georg and Chances Daddy has become part of the losteds too. How wrong, they turned a boy daddy into one of them.

Lock down the airports, hide their keys. You all recall what happened the last time they hit the magic number of 3 (and if you don't feel free to go back in my diary).

Added: oh no another report just came in. Mrs Odie and George and Chance's mommy is on the phone, she is calling in other losted mommies. THIS WILL NOT END WELL!!!!!

Revenge will be had but first HEEELLLLPPPPP!

Laugh it up sistercats!!! When we get down from this blasted bridge I WILL show you all some sistercats true colors. But first we have a tiny problem.....

You see I let Pooh read the jumping instructions, we tied the bungee cords REALLLLY good to our tails (couldnt take any chances of messing up our pretty faces) and cowakiitied into that mushy picnic crap. It worked GREAT, really annoyed chunk a bunk and that wimp she hangs with!!! It was a blast too...boing, boing, boing!!!! It was only after the sun went down, and I wanted to go eat, that I realized my error in letting Pooh do the reading!!!!! He forgotted to read the mostest important page...the getting downs. So we hanged here all night..going boing, boing, boing!!!!

So PLEASE send a knife so I can remove Pooh's tail from the cord, so he can get us down, and send me some cuppycakes......the boing-boinging has made me hungry!!!!!!!

I want a brothercat!

I sat down and had a talk with mommy this morning. I showed her how much fun Newmie and Gleek have wrestlting. How Pooh and Joey get to play all day together. I want to do that. I want to play all day with a cool brothercat. I try to play with Winna and all she does is get all girl whiney and act like I am trying to kill her. I just want to PLAY!!!!! I want a brothercat.

But mommy said no *kitty sad face* she said our house is only big enough for two cats. So I suggested we send Miss Chunk a bunk to someone else and she told me no again. *sigh* I thought about going on a hunger strike til she gets me a brother, but well, I'm Chessy and food is my life.

Anyone know any good tips for convincing your mom to let you have a brothercat? I should go ask Cookie Crumbs in that advice column of hers maybe.

Sistercat...Punished for her AGAIN

Mommy has thought for the last couple days that there might be something up with Winnie's teeth, she isnt chewing like normal. So when mommy's client for today cancelled and she got to be home she decided it would be a good day to take Winna to the v-e-t. I heard her call and thought...COOL....some me time home alone with my Williams. I was so excited...but then I saw it..2 cages...and one of them smells like ME. What is going on here???? AWWW CRUD.....why do I have to go the v-e-t for HER toothies???

Giving to Charity

Thank you again Miss Diary Gal. I love being Diary of the Day cause you get to make a whole lot of new friends and purrs make great comments in your diary! It is less about the being famous and more about the purrs you get to know.

As far of the conversation in my comments I came up with an idea...I am going to give to Charity. I dont have lots of money but I do have lots of sistercat I dont need so I am giving that away.

I have tried giving her away all at once...tried packing her (mommy stopped that...twice), I tried giving her aways when she got married (rascal ruined that by 'loping), I've offered her to a few friends (my friends were too smart to take her). So it hit me today.....if you can't give her away all at once, give her away a piece at a time - mommy won't notice that.

I know Mr Tyler could use an eye...I got you covered dude. there are lot of three legged cats on catster..she has 4 short fat ones but they work....Aldo needs some fur....she has LOTS of that.....the giving goes on and on.

Another Wedding Rip Off

I am starting to think these Catster weddings are a scam, created by the GIRLCATS! Miss Biscuity got married yesterday and once again I got ripped off. Lets review the evidence...

1) Rascal proposes to Miss Chunk a Bunk (my sister Winnie) and everyone promises I will get to give her away (heck I even packed for her, a couple times). But instead, she runs off and elopes and then is STILL living here. I never got to give her away!!!

2) Biscuity and Teddy decide to get married. I have watched lots of tv, they ALWAYS ask at weddings if anyone knows reasons they shouldn't be married, so I did my homework and prepared my list before time *rolls out HUGE scroll of reasons*. I was well behaved and walked her down the aisle, Nuk and I sat and listened to all the syrupy vows and didnt gag and then....it was OVER. No one asked me why it was a bad idea like they were supposed to.

See, I got ripped off...hmmmmpppfff!

Guard Your Mommies

The Furchildren of the Losted Mommies (FCoLM's) have started to figure out some of the patterns of how our mommies get losted.

1. The more of them are together the worse it is, they seem to gain strength as they flock (Nuk, w.d.w.b. (who dances with butterflies) figured this one out).

2. The Atlanta airport seems to have some magic power over them and makes them get losted faster (Punky figured this one out).

Based on these I am putting out the warning signal, I heard my mommy say she was going to Atlanta this week. I dont know who else is going, but this CAN'T be good!!!!!! Everycat to your battle stations.

Pooh you seeing any sign of luggage on your end? Punky, any packing going on?

Be Careful What You Wish For

My "milk-carton mommy" FINALLY came home last night. She was the last of the losted mommies to be found. Punky found her mommy on Monday!!!

I thought I wanted mommy home, and when she came in I was SOOOOO happy to see her, but let me tell you, maybe I was wrong. First she made us go flying (which I don't mind but Winnie hates), then she kissled us over and over and over again (eww gross) and all night she kept pettying me and waking me up.

You would think I was the one losted for all the twofer smooshing she is doing on me, sheesh!!!!!!!!!!

Oh and today she is trimned Winna's nail, how mean is THAT after being losted all that time.

Milky Carton

Yes dudes, I KNOW it is supposed to be the mommies's pictures on the milk carton, but they are not here, so I can take their picture. And since I am here, and lets face it I am way cuter anyway *beams*, I tooked MY picture and put it on the carton (and dranked the milky too *nummy*).

I have heard the mommies have gone in multiple directions *sigh* how hard will it be if they split up and can go many places at one time?

Oh No Not Again

How could you losted them again? *sigh* You know I think it is good to have one of those daddy things.....(which I dont have and punky doesnt have) cause if you mommy gets losted you have a daddy to find her and to take care of you while she is missed.

I have an idea

Ok so we have all these losted mommies and I just realized what we need to do...

1) Microchip the mommies....that way when they get losted they can be scanned and returned

2) Get them Together Tags....Mr Ted can you help us out with this.

Pooh thinks we can train then, I dont think so, I think they are WAY past that, but if we cant train them. At least lets mark them so we can get them back!!!!!!

Pooh, man, you are kidding right. My mommy is in North Carolina...Again??????????????????? What the catnip? How did THAT happen. *sigh* NOW what are we going to do????? Are they driving to Nuk again? Did they forgetted they already did this cycle once and are trying it again? Will Nuk end up with TWO sisters. OH MY!!!!!!!!

He Got a Sister Cat and Now All Sanity Seems Gone

Ok my bromantic Nuk really seems to be losing it, telling us how pretty his sister is (ok she is, but STILL she is a girlcat and a sister at that).

For the record nuk, I know about boas, and spa stuff and HK because I spend time trying to dodge those things over at the brusselball. Frankie's spa likes to try to put them on me while I am riding the poohbull or other manly things.

Bromance

Ok....I think there needs to be some talking to with some GIRLCATS here on Catster. A few days ago when my look alike Nuk and I were sending kissiling rosies (we were making fun of our mommies to be exact) we got teased and picked on for kissing boys. But today RA is going around kissiling girls and everyone is all excited....SHEESH girlcats!!!

The True Reason for a Holiday Today

For some kitties, this week is Passover....this celebrates the Exodus from Egypt and the freeing of the Jewish kitties from those mean Egyptian kitties. The Red Litter Box parted and out we marched with our tails held high! Go Jewish Kitties!!!!

For others this is Easter...this celebrates the rising of Jesus from his death. Also it is the birthday of the Easter Bunny I think.

Those are both really nice, but they are not the REAL holiday today. The real holiday is the Annual Migration of the Williams (see my photos).

If you don't know what a William is, it is my mostest favoritest toy in the whole world. It was one of the first toys mommy got me when I found her, and I still have that original one. But I also have some my friends sent me and some extras mommy bought.

They come in a few color combinations, but I only like the pink faced green/blue one...this is a REAL William. They also make "fake william" he has a purple face...and "scary william" he is yellow and green but I dont like those.

Today I was sitting in the living room and all the williams walked by on their way to their summer beach!!!! It was PAWSOME. What a sight. GOOOOO WILLIAMS!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't know how he did it, that magic man we call Ted. But he has tricked mother nature, yes he did. Normally our BB's grow around July, when JV went away, and HQ gives us our bb rosie. But somehow...they came out in March!!!!! Ted has fooled mother nature!!!

New Findings on the Brusselfish

OMC...There was an Elusive Brusselfish (EBF) at my house this morning. I was shocked, it is cold and wintery and they usually hibernate this time of year. But I woke up this morning and there it was. And it was teasing me, and trying to get me. But I wasn't getting gotten, no way.

So I grabbed it in my paws, I had it trapped. I was going in for the catch, I went to grab it with my mouth and you know what it did...IT BIT MY MOMMY!!!

Just as I grabbed it mommy said "ouch ouch ouch" and it ran out of my grasp. I tried two more times and every time I tried to bite it, it bit my mommy. How rude is that??? Mommy is ok, only because I protected her from the bad brusselfish, but she is ok.

Nuk if you are trying to catch one be VERY careful cause now know the EBF has teeth and is willing to attack to avoid being captured!!!!!

It's Catmus...I'm Jewish.....what shall I do??? A couple kitties have asked me what I do on Catmus. I do what most good Jewish kitties do, mommy orders us Chinese food and we watch a movie. That is Jewish tradition!!!! Chinese restaurants are always open on these holidays!!!

The whole van was a "machine whose name can not be spoken". I cant believe I lived through it, I tell you, it was the scariest thing ever!!! It was their mothership, I just know it was!!!!!! I would have killed it but mommy trapped us in ths sunroom, probably to protect us from its evil reach!!!! We are being invaded...call the Men in Black!!!!!!!!!!!

I live in the best place in the world...

All my friends, and especially my bestest Punky, think it is silly to live where I do, where it is cold and snowy. Why would I want to live somewhere hot? Life is perfect here. We like the cold so much here that we give away degrees, and we gave away so many today it is now MINUS degrees outside. And the sky has been falling all day so everything is white and shiny (icy).

I love it cause it is too cold for mommy to go anywhere, her birdies stop flying and she stays home in her snuggly clothes. Tonight mommy and Winnie Bea and William and me are all cuddled up in front of the fireplace. Mommy has hot chocolate, Winnie has treaty treats and I have my awesome "stinky fish crap" (Kitty Kaviar) from Mr O'Malley.

What a perfect life...all my favorite things, my furmily and my nummies and none of them are going anywhere!!!!

I LOVE winter and MN weather!!! *snuggles up next to mommy for more petties*. Sorry you kitties in hot places miss out on this!

Havah Nagila - literally means "let us rejoice" but most people know it as a Hebrew Folk Song we dance to when we are celebrating.

Why is Chanukah (or as it is now known ChaNewKah *giggle*) spelled differently for lot of people? Chanukah is a hebrew word and the first letter in it is a Chaf...this word does not have an equal letter in English, so different people spell it different ways to try to make the same thing.

A chaf is a sound a lot like a kitty having a hairball btw *giggle*

Help Us Help Muppet

We saw the Hazel Lucy smoke signal in the sky this morning and made mommy log on, a catster or dogster MUST be in trouble. HL only rallies the troops for the most important of problems. When we logged on it looked kinda familiar…HL was manning Central Catmand, a new group had been set up “Muppet’s Bucket” (http://www.catster.com/group/Muppets_bucket_hq_approved_fun draiser-15216) and everyone was rallying. This must be serious…we haven’t done this since we lost Laurel………

We spent some time reading and learned that this time little Muppet (www.catster.com/cats/624959 ) needed our help. Here is a great summary of Muppie’s situation (Ele hope you don’t mind we copied what you wrote).

Muppet was rescued by Best Friends Society from a horrific hoarding situation. Muppet and almost 700 other cats were rescued from what was supposed to be an animal sanctuary that went by the name of F.L.O.C.K. (For the Love of Cats and Kittens). Almost half of the cats did not survive, and many of those that have - like Muppet - need ongoing care. Muppet is in a loving forever home, and has been fortunate to now have a family who will provide her with whatever she needs. And she has needed quite a bit in the way of vet care. Now Muppet needs an ear surgery if she is going to continue living, because without it the pain that she experiences due to an ear trauma will become so great that she would need to be put down. Otherwise, Muppet is a healthy and beautiful girl. She has already survived so much, that it would be tragedy for her family to have to let her go now, but they simply can not afford the surgery. Catster HQ has been incredibly helpful and done all the legwork to make sure the situation is as reported (Thanks Head Cat) and it is, and is full supporting this effort to help save Muppet.

Needless to say we HAD to help (well duh that is what Catster’s do). So we went and found mommy’s special credit card (the one we stashed away after we helped Noelle and Tessie and Aldo) and we were about make a donation, when mommy stopped us. She reminded us we needed to do more than just make a donation, we needed to get others to do the same….so we came up with a plan…

We are going to MATCH all the donations made between now and Wednesday night (up to a total of $1000). For every donation that comes in we will send that much. That means how much every you all donate will be twice as much now!!!!!

When your sister is COTD

Ok now I know you all expect this to be me saying how horrible it is that Winna was COTD, and I thought about saying that, but I have to tell the truth, but no one tell her ok. *talks really quietly*

I think it was pretty cool today that Winna was COTD. She got so many pressies and it made her so happy and when she is happy she doesn't chase me and push me off the chairs as much. *grin*.

It was nice to have everyone tell her how pretty she is and how nice she is, she is a pretty good sister (even if I don't tell her that) and sometimes she gets forgotten on catster cause I have more friends and lets face it I am just more fun.

So thanks for making Winnie feel special today!!! *see's Winnie coming in and changes his voice really fast*...That's right, its HORRIBLE that HQ picked her and not me, silly furball she is *wink...wink*

Brusselball Season is So Short

It looks like BB rosie season has passed again. It goes so fast. Thank you HQ for letting us have our BB's back for just a little bit. Now we can start looking forward to next years bb season!!!!

I've got my bags packed

What a day, get this..FIRST my mommy puts these HUGE kitty pictures on the wall and they are staring at me (ok they are of me and Winnie but still they are HUGE and scary) *mommy note I had some of my favorite pics of them printed on canvas to hang in my home office* After mommy hung them up she picked up ALL my toys and put them in a basket, SHEESH, how rude. I had them where I wanted them.

THEN as if a picture of Winnie with a foot tall eyeball isnt enough all these LOUD NOISY people came to my house tonight. They even had two squeaky babies with them, there were 100's of people here I tell you *mommy note - more like 20* They were loud and all over my house and I stayed way away from them.

There was one little twofer, Mia, who came and sat on the floor and talked soft to me and I came out for her, she gave me treaties even. She was 3 1/2 and I liked her. But that didnt make up for all the big twofers here tonight.

And get this, one of them saw me and said to mommy "that aint no cat, that is a bobcat". What a doof, doesnt he know beautiful big feeties and spottidies when he sees them????????

I cant live like this! Who wants a housemate????

It would have been really cool to show all my friends he was talking about ME, but he called me a WOOFER!!!! Can you imagine??????? I have always through Dr Eric seemed a little partial to the woofers, but why would he just guess I was a doggie????? We wrote to him from Catster.

Oh well I am still famous and that is really cool. This is more special than being COTD even!!!

My Pal JV's First Yahrzeit!!!

Jules Vern has it really been a year??????? I miss you my friend. Queenie misses you, Catster HQ even misses you. It was fun having a party tonight to remember and honor you, but there is one more thing I have to do *lights the candle in his main picture*

As a lot of you kits know we are Jewish kitties, and our beliefs dont really talk about an afterlife the way a lot of kitties do. But we are raised to beleive that your afterlife comes from how you changed the world, the impact you had on the world and how you are remembered. So by keeping somecat in our heart and mind they have an eternal life.

To outwardly express that rememberance every year we celebrate their Yahrzeit, the anniversary of their passing. And we burn a special candle of rememberance all day.

So for you my pal my candle is lit (ok its a little early but I knew mommy wouldnt still be up at midnight) and will keep it up for you all day.

We miss you, we remember you, you made the world a better place!!!!

The History of Brusselball Rosies

Hi everyone *waving*. First of all a HUGE Thank You and hugs to HQ for bringing back the brusselball rosie. We can't thank you enough for helping us remember JV. We can't beleive it has been a year.

Ok now why I posted, we have been getting questions on the meaning of the bb rosie, so I thought a little history lesson might be helpful for the new kitties....

BB's at JV's party was not actually the start of bb's. That is a kind of funny story. They were actually started by Arnold P. See heres how it went. I went on a little "adventure" (yeah that's what we'll call it) *winnie pipes in* (that means the dufas pushed a screen out and fell out a second story window and was missing for two days) *chessy pushes her away*. Like I said, I went on an adventure. And while I was gone everyone was really worried and put my picture up on their page (this was near the start of that tradition, might have been the first time actually I think. Thanks to my friend Tick for making the picture)

When I was found, my friends at the Samoa detective agency group threw me a great party, and Arnold P brought brusselsprouts. We all thought that was a little weird in the head at first, but we started playing with them and had so much fun. From there they became known as brusselballs (bb's) and we played with them whenever we could.

One of the cool dudes who was part of our group was JV. He was pawsome with a bb. He had been sick for a while but was getting worse, and his mommy said he had to go to the bridge. Before he left we decided to throw him a huge party at Samoa's to send him off right. It was the first Annual JV Brusselball Tourney, held on July 17th, 2007.

Now pardon me for being a little murky on timing, but I think it was the week after that, in rememberance of JV's passing, that we all decided we needed a bb rosie and campaigned HQ for one (we all pmailed and posted and wore bb rosie pictures). Well HQ being as smart as they are thought it was a good idea and for a short while we had bb rosies.

As part of all this a group was also started (so we werent always commandeering Samoa's Agency for our games) where we could play brusselball whenever we wanted, where we could plant a brusselball garden and hang out with our BB friends.

Fast forward to July 2008 and it has been a year since JV went away and is time for the 2nd annual JV bb tourney. And HQ has been gracious enough to help us celebrate by bringing back the bb rosie.

Oh wait I forgot, one more thing....Dont ever catch a bb with your mouth...they taste like poo!!!! *giggle*

Cuter Nummies

Today I had cuter company, some bunnies were playing in my yard. They look much nummier!!!!!

Boy are they UGLY when they are walking around. My bestest Punky said they looked like dinosaurs in my picture and she is right. And their heads are all bald and ugly and a funny color. Up for Adoption

Over the last two weeks I have worked really hard with all my friends on catster and dogster to get Tessy, Aldo and Noelle new homes. Now I need help.

We need to get the vacuum monster a new home!!!!! I am thinking if someone from the catster railroad would come rescue it, then we could put it on a plane, maybe to that New Mexico place (that sounds good and far away).

Would you be willing to give the vacuum monster a good home so it would stop chasing me??????

Oh and I will throw in one tile guy too if you want (he made a lot of noise here today too).

Ok now let me start by saying, I was rather unhappy with Pet Smart. They have decided to stop carrying my treaties (MC Catberry Crunchies). This presents a major problem for me, as those are my absolutely most favoritest ever, and all I have had for treats since I was a little one and my bestest punky told me about them. I found out on my birthday *gasp* that they were discontinuing them. I was so desperate I even asked my Auntie Kaye (Mrs Pooh's mommy) to ask her store if they had them, cause she works for Pet Smart. And nope they are discontinuing too *frown*.

So my mommy, being kinda smart for a twofer, went on line to petsmart.com and ordered me 6 bags of them. So I had a supply. She also ordered 4 boxes of the filters for Winnie's water fountain (borrring).

The box came today and mommy just kept pulling bag after bag of treaties out of the box. Instead of 6 treaties and 4 filters they put in 10 bags of my treaties. Now how is THAT for service.

My friend JV and his sisters have come back to Catster *waving to PB2, Calli and their mommy*. We love you guys and missed you sooooo much. No more building hotels ok?????????????????

I miss my friend

*sigh* ok I dont know if his family will see this and I am not sure what to say. But I need to write this. I miss my friend JV and his family (Calli and PB2 and their mommy laura). They were dear friends to a lot of us on catster. We had a special last day for JV when he had to go to the bridge and we were so happy when two new kitties came into his mommy's life). But his family hasn't been on catster for a long time now (their pages are still Christmasy) and they haven't told anyone why. A lot of us have emailed and pmailed and even called their mom, and heard just like one line from her that only made us more worried.

I know catster is a "just an internet site" and some people think it isnt real friendships, but for us people do become part of our heart, and my heart is really sad that my friends have poofed.

If PB2 or Calli or their mommy see this, remember we all love you, and no matter what is going on we are here for you. We are worried about you and we love you. And so do a lot of other people!!!!! Like Queenie, and Tick, and Pooh and lots of other kitties.

I have Aunties. They came to visit ME!!! They came all the way to MN just to meet ME!!! I am having so much fun. They even brought me toys. Aunt Mrs Pooh's mommy got me a lighted turbo scratcher. They are so nice. They played feathers with me and they also played TP.

I was sad my other friends didnt come, Frankie was supposed to and couldn't, and JV was supposed to and we aren't sure why he didn't. Has anyone seen his mommy or PB2 or Callie? I'm worried about them. There page is still all Christmasy.

My bestest Punky and Merlin never could come. But I wish they did.

Oh well I better go play, cause Winnie keeps taking MY turbo scratcher.

Too Much Sadness

*sigh* I had to say good bye to another friend this week. I keep having to say bye byes. I wish it would stop, it sure kills a guys appetite. But you know my mommy was talking to Ruffie's mommy and I was listening. And they were talking about it being too soon. Is it ever long enough before saying good bye? What a silly life we have, we are all born knowing we will someday pass away. If you let that be too sad it can overwhelm you, but if you use it to remind you that every minute matters and tell kitties you care about that you love them, and enjoy ever minute with them, then I guess it is ok we don't have forever, because if we had forever we wouldnt value the time we do get.

Brussselball Request Day...Tuesday Aug 14th

Well HQ quoted me about BB, but they said not right now on BB rosies *frown*. So we decided to ask for a little help.......Aug 14th is now BB Request Day....here is the details...tell the world....

Tuesday August 14th, we need to let HQ hear us. So we are holding a Brusselball Rosie Request Day. We need your help.

Please:

Between now and Tuesday:

2) Post this message to as many friends, forums and groups as you can (in both catster and dogster)

On Tuesday
1)Move the graphic to your primary photo
2) Send notes to HQ asking them to add a brusselball Rosette

4) Join us in the new group for a mega brusselball game at 9pm EST (6pm catster)

Don’t know what Brusselball (BB is)…. Brusselball (BB) is a game that got started here in Catster at a party and has become THE thing to do (Chessy even got quoted in the newsletter about it this month). It is using a useless (uncooked) icky veggie for fun games. It is soccer, football, hackysack, polo or anything you want to play. Only rule is dont catch them with your mouth they taste pooooooeeeeyyy . The game started at a Welcome Home Chester party (by Arnold P) in the Samoa Detective Agency, it then spread to The Matzos Kitties Chevarim group (there is always a Sunday brunch game) then a thread in the I Love Catster Forum, and now it has its own group!!!!! There is always food and fun wherever bb happens!!!!!

Cat of the Day!!!!! Wow!! Me. I kind of feel guilty, you all gave me so much love last week and now this. It is more than I deserve.

I do need to apologize to everyone who sent Rosies and notes and I havent thanked you yet or sent notes back. Mommy picked today to be super busy with work (she is still at work actually).

I promise I will thank everyone and write more in the next couple days, but please know I love you all and thank you for all the love you have shown me.

PS Will someone tell my sister to stop reminding me she got a whole week, not just a day *smile*

What is a FLIRT?

Mommy called me a big Flirt this morning at the vet? What is that? Is it good? Does it mean a kitty who gets a lot of treaty-treats? The vet was ok, I am not broken or anything she said!!! The ladies there were all very nice to me and told me how handsome I was, and petted me and held me and said what a good boy I am. And when they didn't I looked at them with my patented Chester Look and they did right away!

Mommy realized just now that the day she found out I was missing was the 1 year anniversary of me moving in with her and Winnie. Weird huh?

Thank you all again for being my friends, I am still overwhelmed, shocked and so humbled by the amazing turnout and response when I went missing. You guys are the bestest a boy could ask for!!

I'm home, I'm hungry and I have a zillion people to thank for being so amazingly supportive to mommy and purring for me. So I am throwing a party tonight. 9pm EST (think that is 6 catster) in the Samoa Detective Agency Group (open to all) Break Room/Lounge. Please come, please bring friends, I'll bring food (and maybe Tessy will help me cater). It is pure celebration and thank you time!!!!!!!

I am home and I love you all

I'm home. My great adventure is over. I'm really glad too, it wasnt so much fun out there. And now Winnie is mad at me and hissing when I go near her. I think I smell funny *sniff*.

Guess how mommy got me to show up. She offered FOOD (treaty-treats to be exact). Done in by my own stomach.

I think I am ok, I am limping a little but I have always walked a little weird. Mommy is taking me to the v-e-t at 3:30 just to check me out.

I do not even know how to start to thank every cat on here for all the love and purrs and ribbons and prayers and rosies and stars and everything. Guys there aren't words for it. You made me and mommy and winnie feel so loved and supported and that means so much. I am going to try to send everyone thank you notes but it might take me a bit.

Special thanks to Big T and Morgan who contacted kitties in Binghamton, wrote to the papers and radio station and kept mommy sane as they could. And to whoever made my ribbon. THAT IS SOOOO SWEET and cool I want one please tell me who you are and send it to me!!!!

So Much That Confuses Me

Hi. I'm Chester, and my mommy tells me I am the Manimal of the House. Mommies confuse me some days, my sister too, my feet - I think about them too, and toys and catnip and fur. I have so much running around my head I thought I would start a diary.
