Arrival Story:
I had wanted a kitty for a very long time, but the apartments that we managed at the time would not allow pets. My husband had been bugging the Company to allow pets. He tried to tell them that cat`s get a bad name because of the nasty owners. It was November the 1st of 2001 that the Company finally gave in and said people could have pets. My husband called me from the Main Office and told me the great news. I immediately got a newspaper and found one stating free kittens. That afternoon we went to this address. A lady came outside as we pulled in her drive. I told her I was the one that had called about a kitten. She said I have one left. We followed her out to a barn and she pointed at a very tall and big box. I went over to the box and looked inside and saw this little yellow ball of fuzz. I leaned in the box and picked the kitten up. The first words out of my mouth was" Hi you little Punkin"! So I had picked a name for it not even thinking. The lady knew exactly when the kitten was born. He was born the day before 911. Which makes his Birthday very easy to remember. We get this little kitten home and don`t you know he bonded with my husband. I`m saying" little kitty I am the one that wanted a cat". He slept by my husband every night and it was plain to see he was going to be a daddy`s boy. I was a little hurt, but I`ve always known cats pick their people. Every day when my husband was out working, I would make a point of going to where Punkin was and I would get him to play a little and I would try to love him. I done this faithfully for a long time. To show Punkin that I was there for him if he wanted me. After a couple of months of going to him several times a day....Punkin finally one day came down to the basement where I worked making Greeting Cards. He jumped up on my table and got on top of the card that I was working on. And he just purred and purred. I knew my patience was finally paying off. He finally allowed me to bond with him. He was with me every day keeping me company while I made cards. We would take time 2 or 3 times a day to play chase. I`d run around the basement and Punkin would jump out and grab my leg. He finally had accepted me. He began to sleep near me every night. And he still does to this day. I can hold him and rub him...but he only allow it for so long. We do share a bond now and it was certainly worth waiting for. Love always wins over. We took Punkin back to see the lady we got him from when he was about 6 months old. She really did`nt seem like she cared. So we did not bother her again. But I thank her because I have a beautiful sweet kitty. I could not see my life without Punkin in it!!!!

Bio:
Though not the biggest lover kitty...we still feel so blessed by having Punkin in our lives. He is a real cutie. The second I lay down at night Punkin is one top of me marching his little paws up and down my body. I actually miss it when he is not there one night. And on rare occasions he is off doing something else. I love you my darling Big Boy! I`m glad that you were the only kitten left in that big box. Probably the last kitten because you probably bit at anyone that tried to touch you.

GOOD MORNING.....WOW....IT'S NOVEMBER ALREADY:)
MY BEST TIME OF YEAR IS GOING WILD FROM SEEING THE LEAVES BLOW AROUND.
I DO ACT A BIT MORE SPUNKY IN THE FALL!
I AM NO PLAYING KIND OF CAT, BUT I SURE HAVE BEEN RECENTLY.
I GET EXCITED AND JUST DART FROM ONE ROOM TO ANOTHER LIKE GREASED LIGHTNING!!!!!
I HAD ONE OF THOSE WAL-MART CUBES JUST ROLLING LAST NIGHT WHEN I GOT IN IT:)

ME AND CHARLIE ARE LAYING ON THE BED RIGHT NOW SNUGGLING AS WE DO SOOOO OFTEN.
THE NEW TIME CHANGE HERE, IS CONFOOSING ALL OF US HERE.
WHY DID THEY GO AND DO THAT TO INDIANA?

MOMMY IS GLAD THAT BOTH THE GUYS WENT TO WORK TODAY:)
SHE LOOKS FORWARD TO RESTING TODAY.

BY THE WAY.....I AM ENJOYING ALL OF THE THANKSGIVING PAGES I AM SEEING ON CATSTER NOW:)
WE JUST SETTLED FOR BACKGROUND SINCE CHRISTMAS IS NEXT MONTH. BOBBI'S BACKGROUND IS VERY ADORABLE AND GOES WELL WITH THE COLOR THAT HE IS:)
I KINDA LIKE THE LITTLE TURD NOW! MOL!!!!!

BUT I DOUBT I'D EVER LOVE ANOTHER CAT AS MUCH AS I DO CHARLIE. WE ARE NOT FROM THE SAME LITTER....BUT ONE COULD NEVER TELL IT!!!!

I been taggged by Morris to play the Halloween tag game. I just name my five favorite things about Halloween and chose 6 friends to tag~~

1. I like Halloween cause I can run to the door when someone knocks!

2. I just enjoy watching the children:)

3. I beg Mommy to Dye my fur, so I can go broom riding with her. MOL!!!!!!

4. I like pretending I can eat the candy. In reality, I'd puke it up.
