Arrival Story:
My husband works at the apartments where we live. A lady called him the day after Christmas(2005) and said a kitten had been in the hallway of one of the buildings for over 24 hours and she thought it was dead. So he went over to the building and seen a black ball of fuzz curled in the corner of one of the steps. He picked up the kitten, and it just lay limp in his hands. He then carried it home and handed it to me. It still lay limp. I carried it to a bedroom and went and got some food and water. I placed it in front of the kitten, and it began to move. It ate and drank and then started rubbing against me. My husband had found many other stray cats here and I always wanted to keep one. The rules where we live is only two pets per unit. And we already had our two. To make a long story short...I knew this kitten was special when my husband said we are keeping this one. I think what makes me the angriest, is this kitten layed in that hallway for over 24 hours and none of the people in that certain building even offered her food or water.

Bio:
Karma is really fitting in to our family and she is such a ray of sunshine. Don`t let any of her photo`s decieve you...she hates having anything put around her neck. She will not be still for a second. So any photo I get of her, I have to get it with her moving because she hates the collars. Poor thing panics at being picked up. But she is very much a lover girl. She loves sitting on my lap and is starting to enjoy having her fur brushed. At first she looked at the brush as a toy. And would want to bat at it and bite on it. It finally dawned on her that the brush makes her feel good. We have always let her brothers go out on the patio. I was worried about Karma at first and watched her like a hawk for a while. But she has never attempted to jump off of it. Perhaps because her brothers don`t? One thing that we are happy about, is that her human Uncle Larry got himself a new kitten. Why? Because he kept threatening to Catnap our little Karma! LOL! One could easily see the WANT in his eyes! So what kind of goofy person would leave this Beauty to die? I don`t know. I am sure that Karma was feeling about anything but Pretty when my husband found her. But with a lot of Love and attention I know that today, she feels very Pretty. She is our little Princess! And she has definately learned to use her cuteness to get what she wants. And what Karma wants...Karma gets. Her brothers have grown to love her very much and I am sure they would be lost without her now. Mommy loves you Beautiful Karma and thank you for adding so much joy to our family.

GOOD EVENING EVERY KITTY,
DADDY HAD A WONDERFUL BIRTHDAY TODAY:) AND WE KITTIES GOT TO SPEND SOME GOOD TIME WITH DADDY TONIGHT:)

I WANTED TO TELL ANY KITTY THAT IS INTERESTED....THAT I ADDED A FEW MORE PICTURES IN THE COOLEST DOG AND CAT SHOW.
WE HAVE BEEN DOING OUR SHARE OF VOTING IN THE SHOW.
AND JUST THIS EVENING WE HIT OUR 5000TH VOTE:) I CAN SMELL THOSE HUNDRED ZEALIES NOW. MOL!!!! MOL!!!!

WE HOPE MOMMY GETS SO MUCH BETTER WITH A DIGITAL CAMERA.....THAT BY NEXT YEAR WE CAN ADD SOME REALLY COOL PICTURES IN THE CONTEST.

Can you believe that daddy had to work today? I think a daddy should have his birthday off of work!!!!!
Daddy would have enjoyed his Birthday much better if he were
home loving us and playing.
But what do I know? HUMANS!!!!!

Daddy did call home and said the office lady brought in a homemade banana nut bread cake. Daddy said it was delicious:)

The sad thing is, when Daddy does come home this afternoon.....
Mommy is going to take him back out and have dinner somewhere.

If I am totally lucky.....maybe I can spend some Birthday time with Daddy by 7 or 8 PM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OH WOW....BOBBI BOI HAS BEEN A DDP FOR THE PAST TWO DAYS NOW!!!!! IS HE EVER GETTING A BIG HEAD!!!

ALL OF YOU KNOW I AM THE BEAUTY OF THIS HOUSEHOLD:)
BUT I KINDA GOTTA ADMIT THAT BOBBI BOI IS NOTHING BUT GORGEOUS. EVEN IF HE DOES PICK ON ME A LOT. MOL!!!!!

I SUPPOSE SOMETIMES I DO ASK FOR IT WHEN BOBBI ATTACKS ME.

I MADE MOMMY UPSET THE OTHER DAY. BOBBI HAD JUST JUMPED ON MOMMY'S LAP AND HE WAS ALL STRETCHED OUT AND WAS FALLING ASLEEP ON MOMMY'S LAP.
I LOOKED UP AND I DID NOT LIKE THE FACT THAT BOBBI WAS ENJOYING MY MOMMY.
SO I GOT IN THIS LITTLE HYPER MOOD AND STARTED CLAWING ON MY SCRATCHY POLE AS LOUD AS I COULD. THAT GOT BOBBI'S ATTENTION. BUT HE DID'NT GET OFF MOMMY. THEN I STARTED RUNNING AMUCK AND I'D RUN FROM THE LIVING ROOM TO THE KITCHEN BACK AND FORTH AND IN BETWEEN TIMES I'D SCRATCH ON MY POLE.
AFTER ABOUT 20 MINUTES...BOBBI COULD'NT TAKE IT ANYMORE AND HE GOT OFF OF MOMMY AND AND I JUST JUMPED UP TO THE WINDOW AND BEGAN LOOKING OUTSIDE. HUMMMM...ALL OF A SUDDEN I DID'NT WANNA PLAY ANYMORE.
I HAD GOTTEN ALL I WANTED.....AND THAT WAS MAKING BOBBI GET OFF MY MOMMY.
MOL!!!! MOL!!!!!

MOMMY WAS A LITTLE MAD AT ME CAUSE SHE DON'T GET TO HOLD BOBBI TOO MUCH. I SURE CAN BE A LITTLE MEANY SOMETIMES.
BUT IT'S NOT ABOUT BEING MEAN.....IT'S ABOUT GETTING WHAT I WANT!!!!!! SO BOBBI JUST BETTER LEAVE MY MOMMY ALONE!!!!!!!!!
I WILL NOT SIT BACK AND WATCH HIM BOND WITH MY MOMMY! MOL!!!!!!!
