Arrival Story:
As long as you do not mind me remaining in my spot whilst I tell this story, I shall proceed. If you mind, please go away and pester me no more. My mother was a very young mother. We were a product of her first heat. Being a confused young thing, she birthed us in an abandoned warehouse near where my human Aunt and Grandmother worked. My father, being the devoted family cat that he was, alerted these two ladies to our presence since we were unable to do that on our own. Upon laying eyes on our baby adorableness and learning that our mother had abandoned us, they decided to bring us all home - it was winter and rather chilly. I was given to the man person to raise even though he protested that he was not a "cat person" (how someone can be a non cat person is mind boggling). I soon converted him. He was working on a construction site at the time which necessitated him bringing me with so he could bottle feed me every three or four hours. I would have preferred every hour on the hour, but he resisted my cries. When I grew larger he tried feeding me hard food, which I did not like and decided not to eat. A compromise was reached. He added much water to the hard food (making it almost like soft food) and continued to bottle feed me. Ah, those were the days. Now he makes me jump up onto a counter top and chew those repulsively hard pellets of food when I desire to dine. We have a good relationship, though. To show him how I appreciate his efforts on my behalf, I groom him every so often and knead his arm pit at night. I would groom the woman person he has living with him but her hair interferes with the grooming process. She does make for an excellent cuddler, though.

I was quite honored to find out that I was a diary pick of the day on Sunday. Unfortunately, the women abandoned myself and Thor at home alone Sunday and Monday so I was unable to access her computer to show my appreciation - she turned it off, can you believe that? Well, now that she and the Two Terrors have returned (quite stinky, I must say), I am able to update this and say thank you.

Oh, the horror

Father has left us under the watchful eye of the woman. Whilst he has been gone, she has been changing how we are fed. Now, the dry, crunchy food has not been my favorite (I much preferred the food I was fed as a kitten), it filled me up and was constantly available. That has all changed!

Being the sadist that she apparently is, she taunts us with delectable meaty morsels and then does not add on dry food! We are now fed twice a day (the horror!) with no between meal snacking. Last night she gave us the crunchy food. It was such a relief. But then she took it away! We were without food all night. I almost passed out from food deprivation. No crunchy food this morning, either. The chicken entree was quite delicious. However, I am hungry without my usual grazing throughout the day. I do hope that Father brings her to her sense upon his return. He is coming back, right?
