Arrival Story:
I had been begging and pleading for months with my new husband to let me get a cat. He said "what type of cat do you want?" I answered I would really love a white shorthaired cat and I like Siamese too. He thought he would be smart and said "Well if you find a white part Siamese cat you can have it." I was so happy I thought I would hunt for one right away and was telling my co-workers about my conquest when one said "My Siamese got out and had kittens with a white barn cat. I have your cat if you would like it." Two days later we got Gabby from the cow barn and took her home.

Bio:
Gabbys is very active and sleeps very little by cat standards. She is very attached to her people and almost always in the room watching us or near us. Gabby enjoys the company and the attention that brings. She really runs the house. Gabby is exceptionally smart and enjoys learning new tricks or activities. Her vocal personality makes it hard to ignor her even when we try.

Psych:
Gabby was diagnosed with feline separation anxiety a year after we got her. She is off the daily med but we still have a "leaving ritual" called the couch game which we have to go through every time we leave the house. Getting a second cat really helped Gabby relax more when we have to leave her alone.
